Mestergruppen acquired a Swedish company and needed the order, warehouse, CRM and finance systems in the two countries to talk to each other. I was a backend developer on the integration between the order systems Trace in Norway and MesterOrder in Sweden.
What I did
- Event-driven integrations on Kafka in Kotlin/Spring Boot, put into production in 2023.
- Requirements worked out and prioritized continuously with the business and the chief architect, with developers in both countries.
- Acceptance tests in Cucumber, monitoring with DataDog and OpenSearch.
Result
The integration went into production in 2023. The engagement ended at project completion.
